yeah it's empty aside from sludge in the bottom. was planning on drilling a small hole to make 100% sure and try to drain as much sludge as i can. tank is about 30 years old and is actually in pretty good shape but we don't use it. furnace is an old wood/oil and we've just been burning wood for the last 10 years or so. tank is now causing issues with insurance and they say it has to go.
