Andy578 - 3/24/2018 16:19 have an old tank in the basement that i'd like to remove. it was placed in the basement before the house was built so it's too big to take out without cutting it up. not really anything in it except likely some sludge in the bottom. what's the safest way to cut it up? i'm thinking torch would be a bad idea but maybe a grinder would be alright?
We used a sawzall to cut ours up. Cut it horizontally, carried out like two bath tubs.

+1, sawzall.  Have a fire extinguisher ready and expect a large amount of fuel stink

from the mess.  Be careful out there.
