Nothing will get your attention like a fire in a shop. Sends your adrenaline right up to the max! I caught a snowmobile on fire in a shop once too. Thought you could put it out with snow. Wrong. That didn't help at all. I drug it out the door in record time and used a fire extinquisher to put that one out. Bad thing about right now in winter you more than likely wouldn't even be able to get a water hose out there to fight a fire and by the time the fire department got here everything would be toast. I should put a hydrant in just to have some firefighting water if I ever needed it. Hope to never have to. I try to always weld outside the door if I can. Same with grinding. I like to do that on the cement approach.
