| Though you make some great points, I know of a few people that, if they were still with us, would disgree very aggressively. They were killed in various gasoline explosions in the past. One that is still with us, though in limited capacity, was a fuel truck driver that on a still, humid day, stopped to fill a gas tank that was inside a 3 sided barn. His truck was outside, he was inside filling the tank with the 2" when just before topping off, a magnetic contact switch sparked closed and ignited the heavy fumes that stayed in the imediate area to the operator.
There is a reason why the highflow lines have both a vapor recovery system and a static grounding system. | |
