I’ve still seen what I would consider good hybrids just crap the bed in university trials and first trials. I can’t explain it either.
I can stand next to a weigh wagon all fall and hybrid X is in the top 3 of every plot it is in but then one of the “unbiased plots” come out and it’s buried in the bottom. I’m not saying there’s funny business going on just kind of how the heck did that happen?
