WC MN | My thought is the energy was there for a move. But we needed something to light the fuse. The replant, low crop ratings, dryness, and early heat gave way to larger than anyone expected yields. So now we have a 2.5 billion bushel carryout and thoughts that corn acres may increase next year. No reason to rally very much, not from this price point anyway.
Some day we will have a reason to move higher, much higher, but it isn't in the near future. | |
