NE Iowa
I've done it a couple years now and seeded 2 bu/acre. I'm too far north to double crop so frost seeded red clover into it and gave it a shot of N in early spring. I can use the straw for bedding and pastured the red clover growth in August and September. I get about 45-50 bu/acre. It is hard to get it clean enough with the combine to get through a drill but broadcast would not be a problem.
