Central Missouri
Erosion control, nematode reduction, no til compaction alleviation, soil aeration to depth, increased bean yields. The challenges we are facing with covercrops are no different than the challenges our fathers faced when they adopted no til. 30 years from now covercrops will be in the same place that no til is today. My job isn't to maintain my productivity it is to enhance it. On my soils with my landscape covercrops have to be an integral part of that.
