NC Iowa | I would be pretty upset too. Reputation in important in farm country. I would have an attorney write a letter demanding a public written apology in the local paper and posted at his auction sites for the next 6 months. I would also demand a verbal apology at the start of his auctions for six months.
If he agrees to this, no lawsuit will be filed. It would be a learning experience for him on what is not acceptable.
I have no experience in this, but I think this may be acceptable to both parties without excessive cost to either. | |
