Mohawk Indiana | According to everything you've said it is obvious that you are right and he is wrong. I've been at some auctions like this and the auctioneer will do something like this and I always think It's an inside story that I know nothing about.
Rest assured that the ag community does not revolve around what is going on at the local consignment auction. Probably not any prospective landlords in the crowd either.
You could sue him but I don't see how you could ever quantify any damages you might ask for.
Personally I would just let it fade away, I don't think I would want it talked about anymore, better off to let it become forgotten as soon as possible.
