I do three passes of weed control on corn almost without exception. Hoe at emergence, close cultivate at 8-14", Hill at v6-v8. The only pass I don't do at night is hoe because just exposing the root of a white stage weed to warm air is often enough to kill it.
Can't cultivate at night?
