WC Mn/Dakotas | Gary, i think there alot of farmers that just have no clue about what they could be doing with good data, or understand the limitations of some system they use. Its just put off until later, then they are scrambling to get the equipment in the field and get planting/combining and data and calibration are the very lowest priority. Looking for someone to hand them a big red EASY button, for free to boot.
Its kind of like the general publics perception of pilots. If your a pilot, your just in this whole other unkown category. They dont know or care that there are ultralight pilots, private pilots, various forms of commercial pilots, and military pilots. You can have a relatively new and largely inexperienced pilot die in an old war bird and everone says he was a "good " pilot. Then there can be a weathered military or ag pilot of 20, 30, 40 plus years that dies in crash and he was a "risk taker" or "poor" pilot. No understanding of the real differences are worlds apart between these 2 pilots. | |
