mine did the same thing 16# at wot under load, took it to the cat doc they rebuilt the pump,set the valves it runs 22 to 25# now,it runs alot better said the barrels in the pump were wore and scored. it was expensive but after 1st trip it was worth it. ps went from 425 to 475
