| I have a JD 4200 w/ 48" tiller.
It will not cover whole width of rear wheels, so I have it offset enough to cover the right wheel.
This is a Deere tiller, rotates forward. Tractor has 3 ranges, then hydro, I can go slow enough in the toughest conditions.
That being said....I wished I had a 4310 w/ a 5 ft tiller. with MFWD. The main reason for MFWD, is like when installing lawns and the ground is already loose and fine, the MFWD would make it turn ( grab instead of sliding or pushing ) easier.
Another reason I want MFWD is when mowing ditchbanks, it would be a little safer and give a little extra traction.
There are times I wished I had just a little more HP...tall thick grass ( 72" deck ).
Tiller works awesome though for working dirt.
EDIT...I love that lower picture !!!!
