Subject: RE: Compact Tractors and Tillers

SC MN
I've got a 4320 compact JD and use a 6' 3pt tiller on it for garden and lawn prep. Mine is not a hydro with just the power reverser. Tractor goes slow enough in the low gears to do a good job with the tiller. Just put it into gear, set the throttle and go. As stated a regular rotating tiller will push you if you don't have the tractor in gear. Also MFWD is almost a necessity in these smaller tractors, especially if you go with the R-4 or turf tires if you use the tractor around the yard.
