Your lucky Windstream service and DSL availability /speeds sucks here also. Have 3MBS DSL service best I ever speed tested was about. 2.7MBS. From about 3pm when schools let out until around midnight it chokes down  to under 1MBS or slower that is closer to dial up speeds. They have no capacity and have things oversold. I complain a lot but get no results. Had phone line go out and twisted pair was burned in 2 someplace. They switched twisted pair and I complained about DSL speed. Tech said I'm lucky to be getting what I am getting.  Windstream touts 6MBS service and possible 12 MBS. They can't even deliver close to the 3 MBS on a consistent basis so why would I want to upgrade and pay more.

I hear all these other people talking about getting improved DSL speeds for same current price. Windstream is horrible on capacity but there are no other options other than Satellite which I am not interested in.
