Third shot? That is ridiculous. I have never used a third shot of anything in 35 years of farming. And never a second on more than ten percent of a field. What did you just rely on Round up to kill everything for 30 years in all crops? How can you pencil a profit spraying beans 3 times? with a herbicide? Do you grow cover crops? Do you ever do anything besides spray to deal with weeds? You reap what you sow.

The only ridiculous thing here is you. Once again you think you know everything when you actually know nothing.
This is the Southern Delta, not the garden spot if iL.
Pigweeds start germinating in April and continue to do so till November. This year they started in March and had seed heads in April, they can get 10' tall but they also have seed on plants 3" tall. They will do that after harvest and before frost.
And once again your talking out your a$$ about me. No I didn't just relay on roundup, I never stopped with the residuals. On cotton we put 4 of them down, on beans 3.
If eight dollars is all the profit potential you have on beans maybe you should think of doing something else. That's what a shot of generic Liberty cost. And cotton was what the above poster and I were talking about anyway.
Also how do you not know I haven't taken on ground that has been compleatly grow up in pigweeds for years? You don't get them clean over night. It's about a 5 year process. The first two huge improvements can be made but it's still a fight after that.
I do grow cover crops, I didn't have any this year because of last years dry fall. Some here do have some this year and the pigweeds are coming through them too.
Now either shut your uninformed mouth running me down or come down here.
You have called me a lier, a lowlife and now you're insinuating I've done nothing but promote pigweed production for 30 years (the first year we could use it was 96) with a roundup alone program.
