Try taking that into city of Chicago to a jobsite somewhere on the north side and see how that works out for you, cities have got bigger and roads got busier and it's hard enough with modern manual transmission on roads today. I know the new truck they got at work is true automatic i believe, will be interesting how they like it on grain next fall pulling out of fields and such. I think driver is liking it on the road so far.

My ideal farm truck would be a 10+ speed auto shift with a manual foot clutch when you want it and ability to put in manual. Very nice for unexperienced operators or those who don't have a CDL, because that never happens on the farm. When you want to you can run it like a manual but get out on the road it's basically a auto.

jr80, JMT have any autos, i'm assuming that is what your were talking about with the fuel trucks with auto's
