Have a 3-pedal 10spd autoshift behind a 12.7L Detroit. Took a little getting used to, and kind of have to 're-train' myself each fall as we head into harvest. It does ok. If/when I replace this truck, I won't specifically go looking for an autoshift, but I wouldn't stay away from one, either. I did test drive a 2-pedal Ultra-shift when looking for this truck - I didn't think that seemed like the thing to have for farm use. We dump a fair number of loads into an auger at our bins. Seemed to me like moving the whole deal a few inches would not be very good on things. Maybe just a perception deal....
