That is kind of what I was getting at in my earlier post. Our bulls are Angus and gentle, but they arent gentle (or crazy) because they are angus, they are gentle because the bull breeder values that trait and selects for it and because they are handled regularly.
The cows play a part in gentle herds, but if keeping replacements, the bulls are the quickest and cheapest way to docile cows, regardless of your breed preference.
