south east Indiana
Goats maybe more ok that sheep. copper can be a problem for sheep. Like anything I would work them up to having a creep feeder. I fattened my lambs out west free fed out of feeders. Some of the drugs/additives are a problem for them. cant have the rumenson like cattle maybe, not sure. The calcium/phos ratio of the feed need to be right for them also. I would think if it was mixed to feed goats the cattle will be fine but not so much the other way around.

I think there is a grant program in KY to encourage goat production. If you search the internet should find info. I think the ag college does a lot of education programs also. I imagine they would be a good source of info.

Deworming goats is a constant battle so must have a corral or pen to get them in to deworm. If it were me I would tempted to confine them to a weedy area to Make them clean it up.
