Jim, we ran a 450C for 6 years and really liked it. We bought it primarily because we grow seed beans and it would be more gentle on the beans. Our biggest problem was hydraulic capacity. If you have a newer tractor (10 years or newer), you shouldn't have a problem. We had a 4440 on the 450C and It wouldn't run the conveyor with the door opened fully. The folks that bought it from us have it on a newer red unit and have no problems with it. We had a choice to buy a newer tractor to run the 450C or go back to PTO drive on the 4440. The latter was the most economical. I liked the fact it was side discharge from the perspective that it was easier to judge the distance from trucks, but it was harder on the neck.
