Tim, I would use one for wheat and corn - the wheat would usually be dry but if I had some 17% wheat could this be when you would open slide gate 50% of normal?
I don't understand your procedure using a leatherman to clear plugs - please explain. Maybe I shouldn't buy one yet.
Did you have to do very much maintenance on the unit?
How much hydraulic capacity is required to operate?
If the hydraulic pressure/flow is to low would this also create plugging problems?
If you have to lower the conveyor to unplug then this would leave a big pile of grain?
