Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa | Good post Gary, and by all others, I now consider myself "fully Vettered " anybody with a little age on them that has seen the unimaginable happen, "career crushing events" will view the very idea of hedging a little differently then someone that has not had the thought of being suddenly out of biz, the thought of protecting profits has always been important to me, but secondary to my survival instincts, being a first gen farmer after spending over twenty five years in the building industry, my thoughts have always centered around self preservation, how do I keep from loosing everything, now things have evolved and my decisions affect five families, maybe I can afford to screw up now, but my thoughts always revert back to weathering a catastrophic failure. thanks for the good ideas and links guys. |
