MN | You got it. And that's exactly my point. There is nothing wrong from a speculation standpoint saying, puts are cheap right now I'm going to load the boat and hope they go higher. But that's a spec play on what is perceived to be an undervalued asset.
When we talk about hedging, in my opinion we need to talk about long term strategys that reduce our market price risk (at the lowest cost.) and you're absolutely right puts have been an expensive way to hedge. | |
