Lancaster, OH | Good luck, Deb. My mom is 79 and should be in assisted living and says, "I'd rather die here than live there!" I left out some of the exclamation points.
She fell when we were with her a few months ago, split here lip on a chest and was bleeding when we found her. Would let us take her for stitches or anything.
Some, and my mom is one, get very depressed losing spouses, not being healthy or feeling well, they don't eat well and just spiral down. Mine is one of those.
I hope we all aspire to not be one of those. I want to be that 85 year old who meets his buddies for a walking 9 holes of golf every morning as the sun comes up. Hope it works like that and my wife is still at home with me. Maybe I hope for too much.
