TX | find some rougher type crop ground, needs to have some woods and water on it, rent it from the grain farmer from oct 15 to april 15. run four strand hot wire around the stalks that you rented. build a makeshift coral in a corner. buy a pnu-dart gun and darts and drugs. become a sale barn regular. buy some singles, one eyes, funny colors, horns, etc. put them in the coral for a few days then kick them into the stalks. try to get them all bought by nov 15. feed them 1.5% of their body weight some kind of commodity blend. you might have to set some bales of the crappiest hay you can buy out, just pay a neighbor to set them out for you. (DO NOT BUY A TRACTOR!) give them a good sort and sell big end of them march 15, sell middle part april 1, tail end april 15. | |
