New Mexico | buy 1 load of young cows, calfing now and pairs.
say 50 head, cost laid in, gonna run in the 60 to 75k range.
your Fat calves sold Next fall should gross back in the 80k range. say 40 head at 2,000 per.
( with luck you'll have the other 10 calves left as inventory ).
also perhaps start some jersey kinda calves....grass with grain supp....a home beefer sales program.
( or buy 2 loads...you do the math )
