North Central Indiana
It sure isn't fun loosing lambs. I've lost several myself through these cold days. I've built hot boxes, fed more energy than you can imagine, kept they ewes stuffed with hay, and babied the weak ones with milk replacer, electrolytes, survive, and various cocktails of drugs. At the end of the day, not matter what happens you say amen. This has been a terrible winter for sheep in general.lambing in May is way more fun. I am looking forward to the next group that begins lambing then. Hang in there. You are doing a good job. Things happen to sheep that normally don't happen to other animals of at least as often.
