I'm sorry to hear about your troubles.   Yes, sheep are difficult at times and the learning curve is high.   Keep trying, things get better as you correct and improve.   Were you feeding an antibiotic such as oxytetracycline to avoid chlamydia?   That causes very late term premature births or dead lambs.

Ewe lambs are frustrating, and we've had sheep since 1997.   The last 5 years we've had trouble with cervix's not dilating and had to do C sections.   You just learn to bounce back from the problems.    Hope things get better and encourage your kids to keep at it.
