How much can DDGS substitute for bean meal? At all? a little bit? or enough to be significant? With ethanol running at full capacity and china not taking DDGS, there must be plenty of them to go around domestically.
for hogs the last few months DDG's where way too high priced compared too corn and ddg's have some benefits but you have to add lysine....now if bean meal stays where it is flax,canola and ddg's will come back in rations---feed wise soy meal,corn and base mix is hard too beat for an excellent feed |
