Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | I keep wondering why nobody has mentioned burning corn stalks. It seems obvious to me to fire a corn with corn stalks. You build a big firebox with a grate and air supply blower connected to a heat exchanger ducted to your bin dryer or whatever. Bale up the corn stalks with a round baler, load one or two bales at a time into you firebox. Why aren't you doing it already? You would probably qualify for a biomass burner/boiler credit and pay for the thing.
