Southeast South Dakota | so what is the real price of corn alcohol - you can buy a gallon of E85 for $2.50/gallon and that includes all road taxes......
so why dont people start using alcohol from the ethanol plamts as a replacement heating oil?
it is close; provides good market for corn; and is convenient - unlike trying to burn round bales or stover or wood or similar.......
start something different, think outside the box...wither alcohol is a good fuel or it isnt - this could decide......
also, if people are willing to pay $3 or $4 for LP (since it has been stated in these forums having LP is life or death) - what incentive does any supplier have to lower it back to $1/gallon?
