If it were really economical to use ethanol as a heat source why are we not using it to dry our corn instead of LP or NG ???

better yet why do the ethanol plants pipe in NG or propane for their heat and operational energy sources ??

even better why are we farmers not using corn fired burners to dry our corn in the yard ??
for someone who is as smart as you espouse, I can't believe you do not realize that 6 weeks ago the ethanol was worth more than the usual and customary sources of energy for those applications. Today however, the economics are different, and alternate energy sources are the cheaper route to take. Changing infrastructure to use them is not feasible unless this situation does not remedy itself.
