I'm putting in a new dryer. That's about what it's supposed to do.
You most likely will use less propane than I do, cause I am pretty sure you live in a "southern" state where as in ND average daily temp when drying is usually less than 50 degrees and lot of time lower yet, didn't keep track exactly but guessing average daily temp this year was in the upper 30 low 40 most day, so dryers don't seem to be quite as efficient as they are in warmer climates
I do not have a heat reclaiming option on my dryer, checked into and for the cost to retrofit would take a long time to pay for itself (that was with 1.25 gas) if price of LP doesn't come down may have to do something yet as obviously payback is a lot quick with higher priced LP
