red river valley | The last meeting I was at it was stated by management that 60% are JV's and 40% are grower shareholders. Think about this, the farmers originally bought the company and formed this co-op because their interests didn't align with the owners. The company was being run into the ground and equity extracted. The 40% of grower shareholders should hope that their interests stay aligned with the 60% of limited partner shareholders. At the last special ACS meeting it was stated that the general partner in a Jv selects the voting representative for the JV. I urge all general partners to take this seriously and retain control of our co-op. | |
