Starbuck Manitoba Canada | While I agree with most of what you said, I resent your last statement about the soulless goblins they call children.
I don't know your situation, but almost all successful farms have had the backing and the sacrifice of the children. Be it labour, or missing out on certain sports or vacations that did not fit in with the farm schedule. Most people I talk to that originate from a farm speak highly of their parents and the way in which they were brought up.
