Subject: RE: packing tractor-wheels vs tracks

Sunnyside, WA
A lot of the packing is about thin layers and total weight. We packed with an 8410 and 8420 with blades and weights on the 3pt that weigh ~35,000 lbs. Tires ranged from 14.9 to 20.8 width. Bought a 9520 with 800/70R38 duals that weights around 60,000 lbs and this tractor will out pack the two 8000's combined. I would worry about tracks for packing, but I would worry about stability. The 9520 will go on side slopes that scare me in the 8000's
