East Central IL | We have always used wheel tractors for packing silage in the bunkers. Still using the MFWD8400 with blade to push up piles but traded the 4wd for a quad track. That is what really does the packing. Started chopping Thursday and the quad seems to be doing a good job. Guess we will see just how good a job it did next summer when the piles are cleaned up. Anyone else use tracks for packing? What are your experiences? Will try to get some pics tomorrow. | |
