northwest tennessee | I do that too and will let the bulls run with the cows up until they calve and the first calf is about 3 weeks old. Then they come out. I have some pens made out of poly tape with 2 strands and hot. If they are used to this kind of thing it does not take as much of a pen as you think. When something is hot they are not going to mess with it much. The poly tape will flicker in the wind too and they dont like that movement. | |
