Columbia City, Indiana | I have a similar problem to the OP, the problem is anywhere I could build an extra bull pen for the winter is stuffed with hay or cornstalk bales, or machinery. I suppose I could leave him out in one of the pastures, but I'd be afraid he'd get lonely and not stay there very long. Usually I just leave him with the cows until February or so, when I put the retained heifers with the cow herd, then sometimes I use the pen they were in for the bull. | |
