Central SD | They post and replies below got me thinking. I have been thinking about buying some st fall pairs and feeding the cows to be finished at April before everyone starts dumping open cows. Never been around a fall herd. Will they stay in good shape on say stockpiled grass and corn stalk fields till the snow flys? How much more feed will they need in cold weather and still nursing? When is a good time to sell fall calves? Thanks for any input. | |
