If you can keep old machinery repaired and working well,you can pay yourself well for that. Do some research as to what older machinery has a good track record and which don't. Best to be color blind when making comparisons.
It all depends how many acres you are going to be farming. There are some older farmers that have some very nice equipment sitting in their sheds,that they would sell if you asked. | |
