I think some of you are being a little hard on the guy. I pay a salary based on starting at X & ending at X. If we work later I pay an hourly wage. This needs to be up front so the hand doesn't mind working those extra hours. I have a good friend that says they should just be glad they have a job. True but they also have a life away from the farm.
