North of London | Good points Dave.
We walked the same path in many ways.
I expect anyone who has farmed through the 70ies has had somewhat the same experiences unless they were given everything to begin with, of course when I think about that those in that situation left farming some time ago.
There is a lot to do with luck of when a person starts and there is a lot to do with being able to hang in when you sell corn for $1, or .95 cents like I did. Of course that was Canadian $ .
And when I bought a 10 year old pickup to replace my 25 year old pickup a neighbour told me I should have bought new like he had.
But of course I do not have payments and he does. | |
