I am like you enjoying a nice seat. Having said that, we never remove the plastic when given the choice. We take pride in equipment and plastic left on the seat is simply another measure of protection for the expensive equipment. 2004 JD 4710 sprayer still has the plastic with a very little rip in it. We bought it used one year old. Versatile 936 has always had a towel on the seat, etc... Consider the plastic a mini-shed for the seat. It helps keep grease and other filth off the cloth as well. I feel that the bottom line is the plastic helps resale value. | |
