Subject: RE: CIH 955/interplant vs. CIH 5500 soybean special

SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ
No way would I give up 15 inch rows and go 30. Not unless you want lower yields.
I to thought about getting a 30' 5500 soybeans special instead of my 10 inch 5400 20 ft drill.
I am now looking for a 16/31 kinze. I want a 16 row planter for corn and narrow rows. Having one planter instead of 2 rigs would be nice. More room in my shed. No unhooking, just leave the planter on and plant either product. I might go no-till beans if I can get the landlords to put some tile in. Doubt that will happen.
