Absolutely the best corn I ever raised was planted twice in the same day..Somehow I got only got on half of what I wanted the first time so I went right back over it..The spacing was terrible..I agonized over it until harvest when it was my best field of corn at 160 bushels per acre..The rest made 150 bushels..

6 years later my renter did manage to get 166 bushels on this field with a picket fence stand and more rain than I got..
