OK. | On my circles that Ihave done in the past with wheat and oats, I planted 12lbs. of wheat then flew on 20lbs of alfalfa, turn sprinklers on and keep damp until all seed has sprouted. The last few places I done I just fall seeded on bare ground. I am sure it works differnt in all locations. I found out if you seed to much wheat or oats it will shade out some seedling alfalfa. If need to we would go ahead and swath it down early so the alfalfa could get a jump on it.Here it is hard to do spring planted due to weed pressure goes up. |
