Some farmers will join together and buy their own bases to share with each other, so in effect you have a one time base station cost.
Using a fix base has so many more advantages then using the mobile base. You don’t need to worry about repeatable guidance. No shifting of your AB lines. Multiple vehicles many miles apart can be running at the same time under one fixed base. If your using a mobile base you may need one for each vehicle if they are not running in close proximity of that base. Start up time is a non-issue with a fix base. With a mobile base how may times during the year will you have to move it? I know there is not a RTK network in your local area but I don’t think the long term solution is for every farmer to have his own mobile RTK base.
